Alice Lorena Stephens Bozeman, daughter of Sara E. Mills and Joe Stephens married John Thomas Bozeman, naming her daughter Lorena Emma in 1890 who married Charles Allen McClain in 1908. Both came with a bit of native american lineage and very beautiful and resourceful. Then Emily Alice McClain was born and married Cecil Carter, naming a daughter Anne Alice. Anne married Frank Cochran in 1951. Kathy Lorena was born in 1953.......... Mills is found near the family in several places on the census and Cecils sister Carolyn married a Ben Johnson who's mother was a full blood Cherokee, as stated on an Affidavit and her maiden name was America Emmaline Mills...her name looks familiar!.........Mother of Frank Cochran was Luella Coonfield and her mother was Lattie Little, of Kentucky, all from their first settlements in Pennsylvania, except for Captain George Little who resided in SC. George was captured at the Fall of Charleston, about the same time Peter Bozeman also was captured. Amazing!
